There are 3 sessions in the Lockhart Planetarium during the first 3 full weeks of classes. They will introduce you to the Lab portion of the course, astronomical nomenclature, coordinate systems, constellations, celestial motions, astronomical software and provide the necessary background for successful astronomical observing.
